FAQs

How much does it cost to paint an ATM?

Painting is an inexpensive solution if your issues are mostly cosmetic. To replace an ATM face could cost $2500 or more and to replace a kiosk could start at $20,000. Typical repaints cost 20% of that or less and can last 10 years.

What lasts longer, a paint job or a wrap?

Paint jobs done well with the proper grade of paint will last a decade before fading. Not all paint jobs will last as long if they were done using improper paint or improper techniques. Unlike paint jobs, wrap jobs vary widely, depending on the location of your ATM. If you’d like a professional opinion, we are happy to visit your location and provide a free evaluation.

Can you match my financial institution's corporate colors?

Yes! Matching corporate colors is easy. All you need to do is provide us with the Pantone color and we will make your ATM look perfect!

COMMON MISTAKES

Wrapping an ATM when it should be painted.

Wrapping is a good idea when you want your ATM to have a number of graphics on the surface. Painting is a good idea for a simple, clean look, where perhaps the only graphic is a corporate logo.

That said, wrapping can be problematic outdoors where the ATM sees a great deal of wear and tear from passing traffic. While ATMs outdoors can be wrapped, spot damage can be difficult to fix. Usually, where an ATM will see wear and tear, we recommend paint. The cost of both is fairly comparable.

Working with a company that does not specialize in ATMs.

There are many companies that paint and wrap any number of objects from cars to ATMs to boats. The problem is that when you select a company that is not as familiar with ATMs, they may not be aware of the best way to approach a project. Also, it is important to many banks that paint and wraps reflect corporate branding. Ultimately, you will want to choose a partner who understands how to work with ATMs.

Repainting an ATM that needs to be replaced.

If your car were sputtering and dying, you wouldn’t invest in a new paint job, would you? ATMs aren’t any different. If your ATM is looking worse for wear, it may be time to get a free consultation with our team to determine if repainting is needed or if it is finally time to refurbish or replace your ATM.
